profamilia Between November 2019 and March 2020 Profamilia evaluated the needs, expectations, and inequalities regarding access to health services for Venezuelan migrants and refugees. The research focused on six prioritized cities with high immigration flow: Bogotá, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Cucuta, Riohacha, and Santa Marta. In order to improve the response of the health system locally, this research also inquired about the use of services and inequalities within the host community.
